There are no such things as limits to growth, because there are no limits on the human capacity for intelligence, imagination
and wonder.

His Wisdom
As a very young woman,
I longed after love.
As I grew older,
I looked for acceptance.
But time has taught me to
search for and pursue only...
the wisdom of God.
In this I finally discovered
both love and acceptance.

Kate's "In Closing"
You can spend a lifetime
asking, "Why?"
but it won't change
the here and now.
Is best to pray
for wisdom,
by simply asking...
"Lord, how?"
"If any of you lack wisdom,
let him ask of God,
that giveth to all men liberally...
and it shall be given him."
James 1:5
God's Tears
Sometimes I think
if He were not our Creator,
God would surely flood the earth,
with His own tears.
For all the angry voices,
raised to heaven,
His celestial sobs
would open up deaf ears.
"...and it grieved Him
at His heart."
Genesis 6:6
What a pretty picture this red
cardinal made outside my window
perched atop my pepper plants...
I enjoyed his visit.

His Grace
Where do I go,
when I feel as though,
nothing is going right?
I run to the place,
of God's perfect grace,
and rest while my battles
He fights.

"...come boldly to the throne of grace."
Hebrews 4:16
Many times I have wondered why someone would not want to ask Jesus Christ into their lives. The more I know Jesus, the more I love Him. Over the years it only gets better and better, so it certainly is not because of anything He has not done.
On the contrary. He hung on a cross, died for this world, after being beaten, bruised and humiliated when He had done nothing wrong. He became sin for us so we may be free. He took our shame, our guilt, all sin we came into the world with and every sin we would ever comit and died for it. He paid the full price on the cross.
This is where the world has to see the "finished work" in Christians. It is one very simple word called "grace." To understand the gift of grace, we must understand the Giver behind it.
The definition for the word grace is "unmerited favor." Unmerited means we don't deserve it, didn't earn it and it 100% only has to do with the giver of such a gift.
We can try to do more good deeds, pray harder, be a better person, and these are all things Christians should be doing in their lives, but that will not get us more "grace." Paul said it like this to the Romans:"By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory ofGod." (Romans 5:2)
Why are we missing such a simple and beautiful message? Paul continues on to say, "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." (Romans 10:3)
"Righteousness" is our right standing with God. We obtain this only by and through Jesus Christ. The man on death row has the same right as the preacher in the pulpit (if Jesus is their Lord and Savior) as far as going before God BECAUSE OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS. "For sin shall not have dominionover you; for ye are not under the law, but under grace." (Romans 6:14
Have you asked Jesus into your life? This precious, wonderful gift of grace is free to everyone! The scripture says,"Whosoever believeth on Him shall notbe ashamed." (Romans 10:11)
How do you receive Jesus into your life?"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:3 NIV)
Can the blood of Jesus help the worst sinner, so that they may stand before God? "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God..." (Romans 3:23 ) But the gospel (Good News) goes on to say, "Being justified freely by His grace through the redeption that is in Christ Jesus." (ROmans 3:24)
When we have Jesus in our lives as our "great high priest," the scripture says, "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." (Hebrews 4:14 NIV)
Grace is a person and His name is Jesus Christ. Ask Jesus into your life today and receive God's perfect gift of perfect love, because He loves you so very much.
